Tousie

The picture shown above is Tousie. He is the wisest and the gentlest of our beardies. He is also definitely top dog. He has the expression of a kind hearted soul who has been here before. I only wish that I could understand all that he is trying to tell me. He is now nearly five years old, and is carrying the most wonderful coat. The photo was taken during his ‘Pale but interesting phase’; this is a stage that all beardies go through, but normally with not so much gusto as Tousie had. In fact on many occasions we used to refer of him as a burst couch, as his coat was never ending, neither was the grooming.

Tousie managed to achieve several first places, Best in group places, group places, RBPIS and BPIS, so as a junior he was very successful in the show ring, and managed to become our first beardie to be shown at Crufts.

Tousie feels that it falls on his shoulders to show the other beardies of the household what to do, he stands for no nonsense. Tousie loves puppies, and going to the show ring to see his friends and has no hesitation in showing the bouncy, playful characteristics when faced with other beardies. This becomes blatantly obvious when he meets the rest of his siblings then fun is the only thing on the agenda.
